Understand ChairPulse subscription tiers, pricing, AI usage limits, and how to manage your billing.

Managing your subscription

The Billing section lets you view your current plan, compare tiers, upgrade or downgrade, and manage your payment method. It is accessed from the Billing tab in Organization Settings.

Only users with the admin or DSO admin role can access billing settings.

Subscription tiers

ChairPulse offers two subscription tiers, plus a trial period for new accounts:

$99/office/month (monthly billing) or $82/office/month (annual billing, $990/year)

Best for: Solo practitioners and small practices with up to 5 team members.

Included:

  • Equipment management, issues, maintenance, and checklists
  • 15 diagnostic chats per month
  • 5 diagnostic reports per month
  • 25 AI SOP generations per month
  • 1,000 SOP chat messages per month
  • Up to 5 team members

Not included:

  • Compliance wizard
  • County-level compliance requirements
  • Detailed SOP generation
  • Learning paths
  • Invoice uploads and analytics

AI usage limits

AI-powered features have monthly usage limits that reset at the start of each billing cycle:

You can monitor your current AI usage from the Usage tab in Office Settings.

Trial period

New accounts start with a free trial that provides full Professional-tier access. During the trial you have access to all features, including unlimited diagnostic chats, the compliance wizard, learning paths, and invoice uploads.

When your trial is active, the Billing page displays a notice showing when your trial ends (e.g., "Your trial ends on March 15, 2026"). After the trial expires, you will need to select either the Essential or Professional plan to continue using ChairPulse.

Free access accounts

Some accounts may be granted complimentary access to ChairPulse Professional. These accounts display a "Free Access" badge on the billing page and are not charged. If your account has free access, the billing management and upgrade options are not shown.

Current plan card

The billing page shows a Current Plan card displaying:

  • Your plan name (e.g., "Professional Plan") with a crown icon
  • The plan tagline
  • Your current monthly price per office
  • Trial status and end date (if applicable)
  • A billing cycle note: "Billed monthly per active office"

Upgrading to Professional

If you are on the Essential plan:

Navigate to Billing

Go to Organization Settings and select the Billing tab.

Click Upgrade to Professional

Click the Upgrade to Professional button. This opens the Stripe checkout page.

Complete payment

Enter your payment details and confirm the upgrade. Your account is upgraded immediately.

Managing your billing

Click the Manage Billing button to open the Stripe Customer Portal where you can:

  • Update your payment method
  • View your invoice history
  • Switch between monthly and annual billing
  • Downgrade your plan
  • Cancel your subscription

Billing is calculated per active office. If you have three offices on the Professional plan with monthly billing, your total cost is $139 x 3 = $417/month.

Office billing list

Below the Current Plan card, an Office Billing List shows each office in your organization along with its billing status, helping you understand costs on a per-office basis.
